Sahagún In 3D - French Playthrough: Turn Five

Map

Situation after four turns
My activation dice land 6, 5, 1. I reroll the 5 and 1, but get another 5 and an equally useless 4.
I turn wildcard 6 into 2, and start by getting my two-strength cavalry to attack the British two-strength cavalry. The attack dice land 6, 4, 4, eliminating one base and sending the survivors fleeing two hexes.
My other cavalry in area 2 attack the British one-strength unit in the trees. The four attack dice are decreased thanks to the unit having cover, but I roll 6, 5, 4, easily finishing off the enemy unit.
The first part of my plan, outlined before the battle commenced, has been successful in that I have avoided damage from the artillery and I have eliminated the British right flank, but the British centre is still strong
The AI's activation dice land 6, 5, 4, 1, which is bad news for the British as none of their men are in areas 1 and 4, and wildcard 6 cannot be rerolled as the British commander is dead.
That leaves the artillery in area 5, which, thanks to my carelessness, now has a target in the shape of General Debelle. However their two attack dice are decreased for attacking from a river hex, and the die lands as a harmless 3.
