Ready For The Off

EVERYTHING is now set for my refight of Waterloo against my regular wargaming opponent, who, as I have explained before, does not want his name used, but is a huge Francophile.

He has already told me he wants to command the French forces (I always let the guest pick sides), but, strangely, Napoleon is not his hero, or, to put it more precisely, is not his No1 military hero, that position being reserved for Maurice de Saxe.

Anyway, regardless, I hope to start publishing the battle's turn-by-turn account tomorrow.
