Situation after turn 17

The revolt dice land 5-5, an agonising blow for me as it means newly captured Syria expels my Macedonians.

There is a dramatic development when Andy is drawn first, and he successfully rolls a 6 to restore his Carthaginians to their 'AFRICA' homeland.

Reg is next, and he immediately counterattacks, recapturing 'AFRICA', and so once again eliminating the Carthaginians.

Richard's Parthians take Syria, only for me to launch my own invasion, retaking it for the Macedonians, thus again obtaining a border with double-scoring AEGYPTUS.

The result of all this toing and froing is that the map looks the same at the end of the decade as it did at the start.
