He will receive a +2 modifier for being a great captain, but Carthage will be campaigning outside its original empire, meaning a -1 modifier (but great captains ignore -1 modifiers for attacking non-homeland controlled provinces).

First the revolt dice (4-3) fall on independent INDIA.

Andy starts by conquering Gallia with a 6, but fails against Cisalpina by rolling 2. A second campaign against Cisalpina also fails on a 2, and so does a third! Finally the fifth campaign of the turn sees Cisalpina fall to a 6.

Richard's Parthians take Bactria from my Macedonians with a 5.

I conquer Thracia with a 6.
