Situation after turn six |
My artillery fire at the one-strength infantry directly ahead of them. The three dice are increased for being next to Marshal Victor, and I roll 5, two 2s and 1, eliminating the enemy unit.
Marshal Victor, in a throwback to a more chivalrous age, charges his opposite number, General Graham, rolling 5 and 4, killing the Allied general.
General Graham's demise could prove pivotal |
From this turn on Allied infantry not already on the hill, will head for it (assuming they are in an active area).
In area 1 the infantry roll 3, which has no effect.
In area 2 the infantry roll 5, advancing a square, but cannot fire at Marshal Victor thanks to the plateau effect of high ground.
The Allied artillery fire at Marshal Victor, the dice landing 6 and 3, killing the French general.
Both armies are suddenly leaderless |
