Situation in 250 BC |
For the rest of the game the Romans receive a +1 modifier for every turn in which they do not have a great captain.
The revolt dice (1-2) fall on independent AEGYPTUS.
I am drawn first, and I attack Syria, but roll 3.
The Macedonians attack Mesopotamia, but 4 is not enough as there is a -1 modifier for attacking a controlled province.
Andy's Romans again attack AFRICA, succeeding with 5 (naval crossing) and 6 (land attack), eliminating Carthage, at least for the time being.
Richard can only try to foment rebellion in his homeland, and he succeeds with a 6, regaining AFRICA.
Despite AFRICA dramatically changing hands twice, the decade ends with the map looking the same as it did at the start.
