Situation in 240 BC |
Andy is drawn first, and he changes tactics by attacking Cisaplina, only to fail with a 2.
The Carthaginians boldly attack Sicilia, perhaps thinking Roman attention is directed elsewhere. The naval crossing is no problem as 6 is rolled, but the land attack fails on a 4, thanks to a -1 modifier for attacking outside of the original Carthaginian empire.
The Macedonians attack independent Syria, but roll 3.
I also attack Syria, but also roll 3, so another decade has passed without a change in the map.
[I got this wrong - the updated map should show Bactria independent.]
